ActiveCheckout Quick Reference

Download & Installation	www.gpayments.com Select the Free Download link Click Install ActiveCheckout  Accept the ActiveCheckout License Click  OK to download and install		Downloads, installs and opens ActiveCheckout on your desktop, with its default character
			ActiveCheckout icon is displayed on your desktop and on your browser toolbar.
	Sometimes personal firewalls can prevent ActiveCheckout from installing properly. If you experience problems, disable your firewall, install ActiveCheckout and then enable your firewall.
Start ActiveCheckout	Click browser toolbar icon or    Windows Start > Programs > ActiveCheckout > ActiveCheckout
ActiveCheckout Menu	Right click desktop character or system tray icon - gives you access to all ActiveCheckout functions.
	Fill in Form	Fills any form displayed in the active browser window using details stored in ActiveCheckout.
	My Profiles...	Stores name, address & contact details
	My Accounts...	Credit Card account details
	Options...	Important settings for Preferences and Security that determine when and how ActiveCheckout works (see below for recommendations).
	Characters	Select a different ActiveCheckout characters from the list.
	About	Displays ActiveCheckout version details.
	Tell a Friend	Email a friend with your favourite character recommendation
	What's new?	Visit GPayments' ActiveCheckout website
	Download new character	Download different ActiveCheckout characters available from GPayments' website
	Help	View the ActiveCheckout user guide (this document)
	Hide / Restore	Minimize / Maximize ActiveCheckout
Exit	Close ActiveCheckout
Exit ActiveCheckout	Menu > Exit
Hide ActiveCheckout	Menu (of desktop character) > Hide
Restore ActiveCheckout	Menu (of system tray icon) > Restore
Enter & Update Information	Menu: My Profiles - for name, address and contact information My Accounts - for credit card account details
Options	Menu > Options - there are two Option's categories:
	Preferences	Tell ActiveCheckout how and when you want it to run; recognise MasterCard SecureCode compliant websites and fill forms. See below for recommended settings. MasterCard SecureCode is the recently introduced authentication standard for online payments using MasterCard credit cards
	Security	Set and change your ActiveCheckout password. Specify an idle-time for locking and password protecting ActiveCheckout.
	Recommended Settings for Preferences	Run at startup - so that ActiveCheckout is already running when you need it to fill a form. Note: you can hide ActiveCheckout (minimize it as an icon in the system tray) and still access its functionality by right clicking on the icon. Auto detect forms - select box only if you want ActiveCheckout to detect and fill forms automatically Show details before filling forms - select box only if you may want to select alternatives to your default profile or card details prior to filling a form View keystrokes - select box only if you want to animate form filling and see characters typed in one at a time Form detection sensitivity: Normal Only applicable when Auto detect forms is selected. You can adjust sensitivity if forms are detected more often or less than expected. Remember, you can always override this by using manual form filling Disable MasterCard SecureCode support - only applies if you are enrolled in MasterCard SecureCode
	Uninstall ActiveCheckout	Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (has the option to retain profile, account and options information if you are reinstalling ActiveCheckout at a later date)
